The first of two Peter Jackson movies we’ll be doing this month finds our drinks living up to the title. Well, the shot anyways…

Shot: Chuck, as in up-chuck, not a guy’s name.

1/3oz each melon liqueur, Irish cream, and lime juice. Perhaps more rough than the scene that inspired it.

Cocktail: The Boys, that ragtag team of Kiwi misfits sent in to take care of the alien menace terrorizing a small New Zealand village.

3/4oz each bourbon, scotch, whiskey, dark rum, orange curaçao, simple syrup, and lemon juice. Serve in a highball glass filled with ice and top off with cola. Kind of an Auckland Iced Tea if you will.
