“Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” Drinks

Turning back time to some drinks from the old show!

A wolf! How apropos!
Combined ingredients cost: $1.45

Shot: Harry’s Godfather, both a take on a traditional Godfather cocktail, and a reference to Sirius Black!

  • 1/2oz each Scotch and black sambuca

Cocktail: Remus’s Remedy, referring to Professor Lupin’s chocolatey cure for those Dementor blues.

  • In an ice filled shaker, combine 3oz vodka, 1/2 each Irish cream and dark creme de cacao, and a few dashes of chocolate bitters. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass.
Why so Sirius, Neville?

As I’m writing this it is in fact Hogwarts Day, and we’re coincidentally in the middle of a Potter re-watch, so what better time for a retro remake? The first time we made these, (light) creme de cacao was used, resulting in a whiter cocktail, so this time I went dark and it came out a bit better I think.
