“Highlander II: The Quickening” Drinks

More like the suckening…

These ingredients are about as Scottish as Christopher Lambert
Irish cream… So close…

Shot: Ouzone Layer, a clever take on the decayed atmosphere above future Earth— or is it? (Actually decayed I mean, the name is clever as hell.)

  • Pour 1oz ouzo into a shot glass. Add a dash of black sambuca.

Cocktail: The Quickening, the electric storm that occurs when one immortal beheads another, and gains his knowledge and power. Or, in this case, a boozy attempt at Nestle’s Quick.

  • In an ice-filled shaker, combine 1oz each vodka, dark creme de cacao, Irish cream, and milk. Shake and strain into a small drinking glass. Dust with cocoa powder.
Like chocolate milk and black jellybeans!

This was a weird one, and I don’t mean the drinks. Check out all our thoughts on the movie, beverages, and much more on our Highlander II episode!

How’d they get Connery back?!
